Fishing Report - April 7, 2014

Crappie - The crappie are still on fire at Lake Talquin…it has been a great crappie season..lots of crappie still being caught in the creeks…trolling in 6 to 8 feet of water and in the pads with jigs and minnows.  Best jig colors John Deer Green, Bubblegum and wildcat…litewire hooks…orange, black and red.

Bream/Shellcracker - Some good reports of bream being caught with crickets in the creeks…5 to 6 feet of water.

Bass -  Good reports on bass in the shallow water with Black Trick worms.

Catfish - Big catfish still being caught all over the lake with Sonny’s stink bait.
