Crappie: The Crappie are biting. They have been caught from Polk Creek all the way past Bell Lake. Many are trolling the edges of the channel with Popcycle, bubblegum, Blue/white/Chartruse Tail, and Bright Orange. Many are using either Pink, Orange, Chartruse lightwirehooks heads (1/16). Bass: The bass are biting. Many are moving to the shallows folling the shad. The American Bass Anglers Club fished this past weekend. The winners were Rob Layhon with a weight of 20.57 lbs. Second was David Howell with a weight of 17.13 lbs. Third was Travis McQuaig with a weight of 10.48 lbs. David had big fish 5.48 lbs.
Bream: The shellcrackers are biting in the rivers.
Catfish: The Catfish are BITING using stinkbait all over the lake.
