Fishing Report 20 Oct 2012
Saturday, October 20th, 2012Crappie: The crappie have started with several fish over 2 pounds brought to the scales over the last few days. The fish are scattered from Harvey Mill to the Dam. The best colors are bubblegum, acid rain, Blue/Black and chartruse. Most fishermen are using 1/16 oz litewirehooks and #7 lead to get to the desired depths. The fish are moving and have not gathered up in one specific location……but they will with the cooler weather.
Bream/Shellcracker: The bream are still biting with several catches brought in this week.
Bass: The Bass are on the points and banks. Several large bass were reported to be caught yesterday with a 11pound 2 oz being caught and released.
Catfish: Great Fishing for catfish using stinkbait.
