Crappie:  The crappie have started with several fish over 2 pounds brought to the scales over the last few days.  The fish are scattered from Harvey Mill to the Dam.  The best colors are bubblegum, acid rain, Blue/Black and chartruse.  Most fishermen are using 1/16 oz litewirehooks and #7 lead to get to the desired depths.  The fish are moving and have not gathered up in one specific location……but they will with the cooler weather.

Bream/Shellcracker:  The bream are still biting with several catches brought in this week.

Bass:  The Bass are on the points and banks.  Several large bass were reported to be caught yesterday with a 11pound 2 oz being caught and released.

Catfish:  Great Fishing for catfish using stinkbait.

Crappie - Oct. is starting off great for the crappie.  Several good catches came in yesterday.  Trolling 12 - 15 feet deep and also good reports on fishing with minnows.  Weather conditions have been great..little to no wind…water level is also at normal pool.  Jig colors are blue/black, acid rain and bubble gum.  Jig head colors orange, white and black.

Bream/Shellcrackers - Bream and shellcrackers are still doing great…lots of good catches still being caught.  Crickets and red worms have been the main bait used.

Bass - Bass have also been doing very well..reports of several 5 - 7 lb. bass been caught.  Using mainly trick worms around the Rocky Comfort area.

Catfish - Catfish still being caught all over the lake using Sonny’s stink bait.
