Friday, December 20th, 2013Crappie: The crappie are biting from Bell Lake to the Dam. The Stump field in front of Blunt Creek has been one of the best afternoon area. Many are fishing deep in the channel and others are trolling in the 20-25 feet water. The best rig is a 1/16 or 3/32 or 1/8 Litewirehook Jighead with #4 piece of lead. Best colors are acid rain, bubblegum, black/blue/chartruse and white lightning. Most are trolling from .7 to 1mph depending on weight.
Bass: Very few Bass fishermen on the water with Deer Season and the Crappie biting good. Most Bass Fishermen are fishing ledges close to the channel.
Bream/Shellcracker: Very few fishing at this time
Catfish: Biting reel good on Stinck Baits
